KNITS

With the right care and storage, your knitwear will last for many years. Many of our knits contain wool - a natural, premium, breathable and temperature-regulating fibre. Wool is also odour-resistant and self-cleaning, meaning it rarely needs washing. All wool used in our collections are sourced in accordance with our Animal Welfare Policy, ensuring responsible practices and respect for animal wellbeing throughout the supply chain. Our knits are often blended with polyester or polyamide/nylon to help retain shape and achieve a softer, lighter feel.

– Give your knit space, avoid overcrowded drawers or shelves – Air out between wears, fresh air often replaces washing – Hand wash or use a wool-delicate cycle – Use detergent designed for wool textiles – Lay flat to dry, never hang when wet – Remove pilling gently with a comb or fabric shaver – Steam instead of ironing to refresh fibres and restore shape – Always store folded, hanging may distort the shape over time – Always follow care instructions carefully

DENIM

Structured. Durable. Character-driven. Denim improves with age and wear. All of our denim is made from cotton and are mostly dyed with natural indigo. Cotton is a natural fibre known for its softness, durability and breathability. Twist & Tango uses denim fabrics from ISKO™ for both quality and sustainability reasons.

– Wash less – Cold wash inside out – Do not use fabric softener – Never tumble dry – Stretch while damp to regain shape – Always follow care instructions carefully

Please note: Indigo may transfer onto light-coloured surfaces, especially when the garment is new, be careful with other light textiles. As with all denim, both color and shape may change over time and with wear. This is a natural characteristic of the material and what makes each garment unique. Store denim in a dark space, as strong light may affect the indigo colour.

BLOUSES, SHIRTS & DRESSES

Many of our blouses and dresses are made from ECOVERO™ or TENCEL™ fibres by LENZING™. These regenerated fibres are made from wood pulp sourced from certified renewable forests and produced through processes with lower environmental impact than conventional viscose. The material offers a soft, fluid feel with a smooth drape.

– Hand wash delicate fabrics – Always follow care instructions – Use a laundry bag when machine washing – Avoid harsh spin cycles – Air dry on hangers – Prefer steaming over ironing – Steam or iron while slightly damp to restore shape – Check buttons and seams regularly, repairs to prolong the life of the garment

TROUSERS, SHORTS & SKIRTS

We believe in great shape and fit. Twist & Tango offers alteration services at a cost to help you achieve the perfect fit.

– Steam or iron while damp to relax wrinkles – Hang by the waistband or fold with care – Store hanging to maintain shape and avoid wrinkles – Always follow care instructions carefully

OUTERWEAR

Outerwear is an investment, treat it with intention and it will stay with you for years. Care keeps the structure sharp.

– Brush wool and remove debris – Hang on wide hangers – Spot clean between washes – Always follow care instructions carefully – Avoid frequent washing — air out and steam to refresh – Repair linings and seams if needed

LEATHER PRODUCTS

Leather is a natural material that ages beautifully when properly cared for. With the right maintenance, your leather product will develop a rich patina and last for many years. All leather and suede used in our collections are sourced in accordance with our Animal Welfare Policy, ensuring responsible practices and respect for animal wellbeing throughout the supply chain.

– Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use – Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat – Keep away from excessive moisture – For light dirt, use a slightly damp cloth – For deeper cleaning, use leather cleaner and conditioner designed for smooth leather – Always test cleaning products on a small hidden area first – Store in a cool, dry place – Use a dust bag for shoes and bags when storing long-term – Stuff bags or shoes with paper to maintain shape – Always follow care instructions carefully

SUEDE & NUBUCK PRODUCTS

Suede and nubuck are softer and more delicate materials

– Protect with a suede/nubuck waterproof spray before first use (always test cleaning /protection product first on a small part) – Brush gently with a suede brush to maintain texture – Use a suede eraser for small stains – Avoid water, as it may leave marks – Store in a cool, dry place in a dust bag (shoes and bags) – Avoid pressure that may flatten the nap – Always follow care instructions carefully

SWIMWEAR

Our swimwear is made with nylon and spandex mix, a high-quality performance quality known for its durability, flexibility and ability to retain shape. Nylon is smoother, stronger and more resistant to salt, chlorine and sun than many other synthetic fibers — helping your swimwear last longer and look great over time. To make your swimwear last as long as possible, we recommend the following care:

– Rinse after every use to remove salt, chlorine and sunscreen – Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent – Gently squeeze out water — avoid twisting – Dry flat in the shade to protect the elastic fibers and color – Avoid rough surfaces, as they may damage the fabric – Do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach or iron

JEWELLERY

Jewellery is delicate and should be handled with care. Proper maintenance will preserve its shine, colour and longevity.

– When dressing, put jewellery on last and remove it first – Remove before showering, swimming or exercising – Avoid contact with perfume, lotions and hairspray – Store separately to prevent scratching and tangling – Keep in a dry, airtight pouch when not in use – Avoid abrasive materials

SUNGLASSES

– Always handle by the frame, not the lenses – Store in a protective case when not in use – Avoid placing lens-down on surfaces – Rinse with water and wipe with a soft cloth when needed
