History

The journey started in 1995, in Gothenburg, Sweden. With the vision of creating a brand for women with an effortless and timeless approach to modern fashion and to design high quality complex collections combining everyday fashion with ease and style. Each year, two main and two seasonal collections are presented through a wardrobe perspective including a wide range of styling possibilities.

In 1998, the first Twist & Tango store opened, in the same neighbourhood as where the company first started. This part of Gothenburg is known for its sustained architecture and charming streets. An area with its own soul. The fact that the concept store is actually still placed in the very same location speaks some about the heart and genuinity of the brand. To grow in a manageable paste based on internal expertise and development has always been greatly prefered for the evolvement of the brand.

Today, Twist & Tango is selectively retailed by over 450 unique stores in 23 countries all around the world. With a signature interior concept the brand philosophy is spread through 7 own stores based in Sweden together with a number of exclusive shop-in-shop cooperation’s. Additionally, the internally managed e-commerce works as an extended arm reaching out to the whole world.
